Where popularity rankings appear, they are drawn from official national statistics and labelled with their source and reference period. We do not publish estimated, sampled or invented figures, and we do not list a country unless its data is sourced and dated.

Fantasy, pet, place and handle suggestions are generated by combining curated lists and word parts. A coined name may coincidentally match an existing person, brand, product or fictional character; any resemblance is unintended.
